Beyond WordCamps, people attend and contribute to WordPress every day, and one great occasion to do so (and a great way to start), is to join the second Global WordPress Translation Day on Saturday, 12th November.

WordPress Translation Day basically means 24 hours of live stream all about internationalization and localization in WordPress. You can join in online.

Local Translation Day Event

There will be a meetup in Zürich where you can meetup at the required office in Zurich to celebrate this event, from 12pm to around 5pm. Whether you want to learn how to translate, you’re learning about internationalization (making your code translatable), or want to find more translators for your themes and plugins, the translation day is for you. The Geneva meetup are planning a local online event allowing people to join in and collaborate from wherever you are. You’ll et all information to get you started. Do not feel shy!
