We are pleased to announce the brand new WordCamp Geneva. In 2014 and 2015, we had successful WordCamps in Zurich, called WordCamp Switzerland, and teams decided to organise it this year in Geneva. The name now reflect the city, and we hope to see more and more WordCamps in Switzerland in the future.

WordCamps are informal, community-organized events that are put together by WordPress users like you. Everyone from casual users to core developers participate, share ideas, and get to know each other. In 2015, over 200 people got together in Zurich, be it as users, designers, developers or otherwise.

This year, WordCamp Geneva will be on Friday, November 18 at the Natural History Museum of Geneva, in the heart of Geneva. We’re also organizing a contributor day again, which will happen on Saturday, November 19.

The event main stage conferences will be in English, in order to better serve the full multilingual audience of Switzerland. Some workshops in the second room might be in French as per the speaker choice.
