Patricia is involved in WordPress since 2013, co-organising the popular monthly WordPress meetups in Geneva. Her experience with WordCamps has been speaking and volunteering on previous years. She adores everything related to communities and human-centered projects. In other words, everything open-source allowing everyone to have a voice is dear to her heart. WordPress aligns perfectly with those values.

Thierry is Swiss Digital Wrangler writing code and architecting softwares for close to a decade. He is truly passionate about code quality, open source, community driven projects and building enterprise solutions. Thierry spent a great part of his career building products and web solutions for WordPress as well as driving open source projects.

He is fortunate to serve XWP as a WordPress Architect and Senior Engineer, working alongside some of the brightest WordPress experts in the world. Thierry is also the founder of Beans Theme Framework.

Working in web technologies since 1995, I worked in several private companies and public institutions as front-end developer, back-end developer, and head of NTIC dept.

Freelance WordPress webdesigner/developer since 2008, I’m currently developing a SAAS service based on WordPress to offer to conference organizers a readymade managed site allowing them to build easily and rapidly their conference site. I also work as a WordPress expert for the University and Hospital of Geneva to develop several web projects based on WordPress multisite and BuddyPress.

Member of the WordPress Geneva meetup group since several years.

Benoît is a graphic designer who turned into full-time development recently. He enjoys to build custom themes from Underscores and to sharpen his knowledge by doing some custom plugins following the best practices.

I discovered WordPress some years ago and I had the opportunity to work on some projects and especially to discover an awesome french community around this content management system who is, as you already know, Open Source. Today, I am really happy to give my help to build the first WordCamp in Geneva. It’s a real opportunity for the community to grow in our beautiful city and I believe that the #WCGVA will be fabulous!
